Our second garden party went off very well with about 40 people turning up. Steve played and several callers were present so we all enjoyed dancing in Chris and Lynne’s lovely garden on a fine summer evening.  The evening ended on a surprise note with a presentation to our Chairman celebrating his long and dedicated service to the club.

The regular club evenings begin again on September 7th with dances that will take into account any new people trying us out for the first time and to that end we will have a special “bring a friend” evening on September 21st with Barry and David calling simple but interesting dances for the less experienced folk.

This year on August 21st Valerie Webster with Peter & Sue Hall at Ibsley Village Hall in the New Forest at £5 a ticket with American supper. Dancing starts at 7.30 and finishes at 10.30pm

This year also  on 2nd October Ray Goodswen with “Folkus Pocus”

At our usual venue St Martin’s School, Shady Bower, Salisbury, SP1 2RG at £6.50 per person on the door from 7.30 to 11.00 with free liquid refreshments and a contributed American Supper (bring and share)
